  2025 NPAA Special Election – Call for Nominations

  A vacancy has opened for the position of Vice President for Policy for the 2025–2026 term. This is a one-year term, and the elected individual will be eligible to run in the 2026 general election.

  Serving as a leader within the Nurse Practitioner Alliance of Alabama (NPAA) provides valuable opportunities to build professional networks, engage with fellow nurse practitioners, and actively support the legislative process. We encourage you to get involved!

  You may nominate yourself or another NPAA member for this important leadership role.

  Open Position: Vice President for Policy

  • Serves as Parliamentarian

  • Chairs the Policy Committee

  • Represents NPAA on all policy-related matters

  • Be willing to participate in policy related activities, such as engaging with legislators, participating in regulatory meetings when available, communication campaigns, etc.

  • May be assigned special tasks by the President

  Nominations are open from October 15, 2025 – November 12, 2025.  Voting by electronic ballot will occur November 17-29, 2025.

  You will be required to upload PDF files for the following information: CV; Bio (limit 250 words); Photo; and answers to the Required Questions (limit 250 words/question):

  1.    What attributes make the nominee the best candidate for this position? 

  2.    What goals does the nominee have for serving in this position? 

  3.    How does the nominee plan to support the mission of the NPAA? 

  4.    What innovations would the nominee like to see implemented within NPAA or in the state of Alabama as it relates to NPs? (only answer if nominating yourself)

  5.    Do you have any questions for the nominating committee?

  ·       All current members are invited to nominate themselves and/or other members. All nominees must click on the Register button on the left side of the screen to complete the “Nomination Form”
